Eliud Kipchoge is a Kenyan long-distance runner widely regarded as one of the greatest marathon athletes in history. Through his discipline, philosophy, and determination, he has redefined the limits of human endurance.

Born on November 5, 1984, in Kapsisiywa, Kenya, Eliud Kipchoge grew up in a humble family and discovered running at a young age. His passion for endurance and hard work led him to become one of Kenya's greatest athletic talents.

In 2003, he announced himself on the international stage by winning the 5,000-meter World Championship title at just 18 years old. After an outstanding track career, he transitioned to marathon running in 2013 and quickly became the world's leading marathon athlete.

In 2018, he broke the marathon world record in Berlin with a historic time of 2:01:39, proving once again that extraordinary achievements are possible through dedication and preparation.

In 2019, he made history by becoming the first person ever to run a marathon in under two hours during the INEOS 1:59 Challenge, completing the distance in 1:59:40 under specially designed conditions.
